Food For Thought (Management):

Though each person has specific needs, drives, aspirations, and capabilities at varying degrees of intensity, people's basic needs are the same as described by Abraham Maslow in the following model:

  • Self-Actualization
  • Ego
  • Social Needs
  • Safety Needs
  • Physiological Needs


Maslow explains the Hierarchy of Needs as applied to workers generally as follows:
